MILESTONES
1981
Established on 28 August 1981, under its original name of PT Sidoarjo Raya, the Company started its operation as a stockiest of Bir Bintang and Green Sand Shandy, products of PT Multi Bintang Indonesia (MBI) with distribution right in East Java (Jawa Timur or Jatim) area. From time to time, The Company has changed its name several times, with the latest on 22 August 1989, the Company name changed to PT Bintang Sidoraya (BSR).
1991
BSR has been awarded distribution rights for AQUA products in Central Java (Jawa Tengah or Jateng) in 1991.
1999
in 1999, BSR has acquired up to 91% of share in PT Mulia Multi Mandiri (stockiest of Bir Bintang and Green Sand Shandy, the products of PT Multi Bintang Indonesia (MBI) with distribution right in DKI Jakarta and West Java (Jawa Barat or Jabar) areas.
1999 - 2004
BSR has been appointed by PT Unilever Indonesia to distribute ice Cream Wall in Jawa Tengah ( Jateng ) and since 2004, BSR also appointed to distibute other consumer products ( general trade ) of PT Unilever Indonesia for the areas Karang Anyar, Wonosari, and Temanggung.
2009
In the end of 2009, BSR's distributorship area for Unilever products has covered 30% of southern are in central Java which includes karang anyar, Wonosari, temanggung, Klaten and Purworejo. total annual group sales turnover reaches Rp 1.05 Trillion in 2009 with business activitie from distribution to transportation service that covers across Java and Bali Islands supported by 40 warehouse/depots with more than 60,000 m3 storage capacity and 320 fleets (trucks), more than 600 sales person and 38,000 outlets (customers ) account.

Support from Bank Mandiri, the biggest commercial Bank in Indonesia which has already increased facility to BSR from Rp 29 billion to Rp 48 billion (2007) and to Rp 71 billion (2010)
